Wolfville is a lovely town sitting on the shores of Minas Basin. It is home to Acadia University, and variety of victorian bed and breakfasts. The town is a popular tourist destination. Amazing views of Cape Blomidon, the Bay of Fundy and Gaspereau Valley bring people to the town, as well as the growing wine industry. The town is the home base for the Magic Wine Bus, a bus that takes tourists on a tour of many wineries in the area.

The downtown portion of Wolfville has long been acclaimed as a bustling gathering place, it has a vibrant nightlife as it is speckled with live music pubs and bars. International cuisine, charming cafes and unique shops complete the walkable town.

Each year, the Annapolis Valley Music Festival is held at Acadia Campus, where musicians, local school bands and choirs from across the valley compete. Two popular annual arts festivals, the Deep Roots Music Festival  are held in September and Devour! The Food Film Fest in late October.

Wolfville has a popular farmers market located in a former apple packing warehouse on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
